Benefits for all Members

Governmental Affairs

Membership in the Metro South Association of REALTORS® makes you part of one of the most powerful and influential grassroots lobbying efforts in the country. Keep abreast of the latest federal and state real estate issues affecting the industry; and become involved.

Professionalism

REALTORS® separate themselves by abiding by a Code of Ethics that was first adopted by the association in 1913. REALTORS® pledge to uphold these ethical and professional standards. If a dispute arises between REALTOR® members of the Board concerning commission, then arbitration may be evoked. A Professional Standards Panel, comprised of members who are actively involved in real estate, hear and make recommendations on matters involving complaints of unethical conduct and arbitration matters.

GAR / NAR

Membership in the local Board also provides you with membership in the 40,000 member Georgia Association of REALTORS® and the 1,300,000 member National Association of REALTORS®, the largest trade organization in the country.
